Israel’s war on Gaza live: Israeli army ‘executed’ civilians at al-Shifa

  • The Israeli military has withdrawn from Gaza’s al-Shifa Hospital after a two-week raid, leaving behind a trail of destruction.
  • Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) says departments at al-Shifa Hospital were “set on fire”, and bodies of “executed” civilians are lying around the complex.
  • At least four people were killed in an Israeli air attack on the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza, according to WHO.
  • Tens of thousands of Israelis have taken to the streets of Tel Aviv condemning the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and demanding an immediate deal for the release of captives.

  • Israel annexes land in occupied West Bank’s Etzion settlement bloc: ReportAccording to The Times of Israel, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced that the Civil Administration, an agency in the Defence Ministry, has declared 170 dunams (42 acres) as “state land”, meaning it can be used for, among other purposes, settlement development.Smotrich, who has authority over the Civil Administration, says he has been working on advancing similar declarations of state land in the occupied West Bank over the last year.Last month, some 8,000 dunams (1,976 acres) were declared state land in the Jordan valley, the largest in decades according to anti-settlement groups.In February, 2,640 dunams (650 acres) were declared state land east of Jerusalem, The Times of Israel reports.Click here to share on social media
